Quick Start Guide
Get started with Lumyvo in just 5 minutes! This guide will walk you through the essential steps to set up your first automation.
Step 1: Create Your Account
- Visit Lumyvo and click Start Free Trial
- Sign up with your email address
- Verify your email (check your inbox)
- Complete your profile setup
Step 2: Connect Your Email
Choose one of the following options:
Option A: Connect Gmail
- Go to Dashboard → Email Connections
- Click Connect Gmail
- Authorize Lumyvo to access your Gmail account
- Select the email address to connect
Option B: Connect IMAP Email
- Go to Dashboard → Email Connections
- Click Connect IMAP
- Enter your email provider settings:
- Email address
- IMAP server
- Port (usually 993)
- App password (see Connect IMAP/SMTP Accounts guide)
- Test connection and save
Step 3: Set Up Email Sorting
- Navigate to Email Connections card
- Click Configure Sorting
- Create custom categories:
- Customer Support
- Sales Inquiries
- Invoices & Billing
- Marketing
- Optionally provide example emails for each category
- Save your sorting rules
Step 4: Configure AI Customer Support (Optional)
- Navigate to AI Control Hub
- Click Setup AI Customer Support
- Choose the email account to monitor
- Set your escalation criteria (low confidence, sensitive topics)
- Add your support knowledge base:
- Upload PDF documents
- Crawl your help center website
- Add text snippets
- Configure and save
Step 5: Monitor Your Automations
- Go to the Analytics page
- View real-time stats:
- Emails sorted
- Support drafts created
- AI confidence scores
- Adjust your settings based on performance
Tips for Success
- Start small: Begin with 2-3 email categories
- Train your AI: The more examples you provide, the better it performs
- Monitor regularly: Check analytics weekly to optimize performance
- Use credits wisely: Professional plan includes 1,000 monthly credits
